Chandi Maha Yagyam — October 2026 is a powerful Shakti Aaradhana offered during Sharada Navaratri 2026 at Shambavi Peetam. The observance centres on Devi Mahatmyam parayanam and Chandi Homa, drawing upon the Durga Saptashati’s seven hundred verses in praise of the Divine Mother as Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati. Through mantra, disciplined recitation and sacred fire offerings, devotees contemplate Devi as the force that restores dharma, courage, clarity and inner balance. The sacred narratives of Madhu and Kaitabha, Mahishasura, and Shumbha and Nishumbha may also be received as teachings about the inner tendencies that obstruct sadhana—fear, anger, inertia, pride, greed and fragmentation. Chandi Aaradhana invites each devotee to meet these tendencies with viveka, steadiness, compassionate action and surrender to Adi Shakti. The phalashruti of the Devi Mahatmyam describes the spiritual fruit of devoted hearing, recitation and homa. These assurances belong within faith and should not be presented as guaranteed outcomes or as substitutes for medical, legal, financial or other practical care. The parayanam sequence, sankalpa procedure, participation details, offerings and sponsorship arrangements will be confirmed by the officiating team before publication. Guru Sri Aascharyanandha, Peetathipathi of Shambavi Peetam, will perform and guide the Chandi Maha Yagyam according to the Peetam’s Sri Vidya lineage. Under his guidance, Devi Mahatmyam parayanam, Chandi Homa, mantra and collective prayer become one continuous aaradhana dedicated to personal transformation, family harmony and the wellbeing of all beings.
