The Stance, The Sound & The Path Within - Satsang by Sri Aascharyanandha

A warm Sunday morning in Chennai. 50-degree heat outside. And inside the satsang — a deeply grounding teaching on why we worship Ganapati, what Tantra truly means, and how to find stillness in any circumstance.

This week's satsang began, as Guruji so often reminds us, with the body. Before mantras, before philosophy — drink water. Stay cool. Take care of the vessel that carries your practice.

From there, Guruji moved into a teaching that many of us needed to hear: we have turned even Ganapati into a vending machine. We approach him with lists of benefits, wishes, and outcomes. But Ganapati, always seated, always still — is not asking us what we want. He is asking us: where do you stand?

Guru Sri Aascharyanandha of Shambavi Peetam

"Ganapati is about stability. You don't sprint in a marathon. You conserve energy. Only near the last round do you gain speed. Ganapati is the reminder of this." — GURU SRI AASCHARYANANDHA

The satsang then opened into one of Guruji's richest explorations — the three great rivers of Indian spiritual tradition: Vedic, Yogic, and Tantric. And why Tantra, the most misunderstood of all, is in truth the most compassionate.

Today was my second Satsang, and it was very informative. I learned more about Vedic, Yogic, and Tantric traditions and their deeper significance. Thank you, Guruji. 🙏
